How long does a ceramic coating actually last?+
We currently offer two ceramic coating packages — a 2-year and a 5-year — giving you the flexibility to choose the level of protection that suits your car and your budget. The longevity of either coating largely depends on how well it is maintained after application, which is why we also offer dedicated maintenance plans to ensure your coating performs for its full lifespan. Every standard interior and exterior detail we carry out also includes a complimentary 3-month ceramic coating spray at no extra cost. While this is not a substitute for a full ceramic coating, it still provides a genuine layer of protection against the elements and keeps your paint looking its best between services.
What does a ceramic coating actually do?+
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your vehicle's paint and forms a long-lasting protective layer over the clear coat. Once applied, it creates a hydrophobic surface where water, dirt, and contaminants bead off rather than bonding to the paint — making your car significantly easier to keep clean and far more resistant to water spots, UV damage, bird droppings, brake dust, and light scratches. Beyond the protection, a properly applied ceramic coating noticeably enhances the depth and gloss of your paint, giving your car a sharp, consistent finish that holds up over time. Do I need to provide water or power?+
As a mobile service that is still growing, we do ask that clients provide access to a water source and a standard power outlet at the location of the booking. We bring absolutely everything else — hoses, extension cables, pressure washer, and all products and equipment needed to complete the job. We never ask for more than those two things, and we always treat your property with the same care and respect we give your vehicle. We genuinely appreciate your understanding as we work toward a fully self-sufficient setup, and we are committed to making the whole experience as easy as possible on your end regardless.
How long does the appointment take?+
This depends on the service booked. For a standard interior, exterior, or combined full detail, the appointment typically takes around 2 hours. For vehicles with heavy soiling, embedded dirt in carpets and fabrics, or significant buildup, we allow up to 3 hours to make sure the job is done properly to our standards. For our 2-year and 5-year ceramic coating packages, the appointment runs between 6 and 8 hours. We understand that sounds like a long time, but every coating service includes a full interior and exterior detail, a thorough paint decontamination, and a paint correction polish to rectify any imperfections before the coating is applied. We take the preparation of the paint seriously because a ceramic coating bonds directly to whatever surface it sits on — anything left underneath gets sealed in permanently. Every step exists for a reason, and we work through it carefully every single time to make sure the result is exactly what it should be.
Will you come to apartment or underground parking?+
Absolutely. We service clients across all kinds of locations — driveways, apartment complexes, underground car parks, office buildings, and anywhere else your car is parked. The only requirements are that the space is large enough for us to work comfortably around your vehicle and that a water source and power outlet are accessible nearby. If you are unsure whether your location works, just get in touch before booking and we will sort it out with you.
What happens in poor weather?+
Light to moderate rain is generally not an issue. As long as you have a covered area — such as an undercover car park, garage, or carport — where we can dry the vehicle after washing, we will proceed with the booking as planned and deliver the same standard of work regardless. In the case of heavy rain or thunderstorms, we will reach out as early as possible to reschedule your appointment. This comes down to two things — the safety of our team and the quality of your service. Heavy rainfall during a wash or coating application can genuinely affect the outcome, and we would always rather reschedule than deliver anything below the standard our clients expect. We will always work to find the earliest alternative time that suits you.
Do you offer maintenance plans?+
Yes, and we genuinely recommend them. A ceramic coating is an investment in your vehicle, and how well it is maintained after application is what determines whether it actually lasts as long as it should. Many of our clients choose to add a maintenance plan after their coating appointment to make sure their car is being washed correctly — with the right products and methods — so the coating is not being worn down or stripped by anything it should not come into contact with. For coated vehicles, we offer plans that run for the full duration of the coating, keeping your car properly looked after from the day it is coated through to renewal. If that is more than you need right now, we also offer flexible 4, 8, and 12-month contracts with the choice of weekly, fortnightly, or monthly visits. You also do not need to have had your car coated by us to join a plan — our maintenance washes are open to any client who wants their vehicle kept in great condition on a regular basis.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept cash and card payment on the day of your appointment. For clients who prefer a more formal payment process, we are also happy to send through an invoice for bank transfer — just let us know your preference at the time of booking. We like to keep things simple and straightforward, and payment is no different.
